About Me

After an 8 year career working with youth and families experiencing homelessness, I returned to school for clinical social work. I developed my clinical skills as an intern at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and then later at The Family Partnership. At The Family Partnership, I was hired on and worked as a therapist for 5 years at their mental health clinic in South Minneapolis. As a new therapist, I learned so much through my experience working with kids, teens, adults, and families.

In 2015, I left my job at The Family Partnership when my second child was born 2 months premature. During that same year I started a small therapy practice which has developed into what you see today. I have also spent some time working as an adjunct faculty at both St. Catherine University and the University of St. Thomas and I’ve enjoyed offering clinical supervision to new social workers.

In this work I am honored to show up in a warm and attentive way with many incredible clients. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my partner and our two amazing kids. I have a passion for fiber arts and my fantasy life involves lots of weaving and sewing in a sunny country house, with breaks for hikes, homemade bread, and vegetables from the garden.
